| | The BEF are hodling a Anti-doping workshop in Scotland at Ingliston Equestrian Centre, Bishopton on Tuesday 23rd March 2010, 9.30am - 4.30pm. It is important anyone competing internationally attends this day - its FREE and lunch will be available!!
Book your place either with Fiona Rawson at SEA (Fionarawson@aol.com) or Sophie Thomas at the BEF (sophie.thomas@bef.co.uk) but you must book no later than 18th March so catering requirements can be sorted out.

James made the journey to Aintree worthwhile by winning the Winter JC qualifier, James was triple clear in a class of 68 securing his place in the final at The Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead. | | Twelve year old Graham Babes riding Try to Hit Me were the only triple clear out of a class of 40 in the 138cm Winter second round competition held at The Small Pony Premier at Rowallan.This superb win qualifies Graham for the Royal International Horse Show.Graham won the same competition last year riding My Best Buddy.The other qualifying place went to Katie Robertson riding Cappagh Cindy.Well done to Graham and Katie!. | |

 | 20/1/2010 - Mark McGowan appointed Pony European Course Designer 2010 assisted by George Blackie |  |
| | Congratulations to Mark McGowan who has been appointed the Course Designer for the Pony European Championships 2010.This year the Championships will be held at Bishops Burton, Yorkshire(27th July to 1st August 2010).
This is the second time Mark has been Course Designer at a Pony European having held this prestige position at The Pony and Young Rider Championships in Prague 2008. On this occasion and at a number of shows in Europe, Mark was
assisted by George Blackie.George will be Assistant Course Designer to Mark at this years Championships.
Well done to both Mark and George on their appointments. It is indeed a great honour to have two Scottish Course Designers chosen to officiate at such a Prestigous event.
